1. Share an experience that's been pivotal in your personal development.
I Chose to follow a road less traveling after spending a summer in a "real" job. I learned quickly that the normal path was not for me and I had no other choice but to succeed in what truly brought me joy and fulfillment. It's been 9 years now of living that dream(I am now a professional skier and non-profit co-founder) and I'm ready again to take a jump again into my highest service.
2. How would your friends, teachers, and co-workers describe you?
A bit wo-wo, a natural cheerleader, fun, adventurous, on her own program, a bit flaky, artistic, a visionary without focus
3. What do you intend to bring to the work, relationships and future of Emerging Leader Labs?
An energetic cheerleader with great potential. I work great within a community and can easily manifest and help others to do the same.
4. What do you most want out of your time with Emerging Leader Labs?
Help to focus, direct and ground my ideas into a concrete, grounded business plan that is a tangible foundation for the rest to grow. Also, coaching as to how to develop this within me and confidence in the areas I do not feel so confident in, ie, money, structure, numbers...
5. We are committed to working out our problems with communication. Please give an example of when you have resolved a serious problem with someone using communication. And were you so successful at addressing this problem that you would feel comfortable with us calling this person?
The Four agreements taught me to take nothing personally and if I do, it's my issue. I try to use I statements when I have a conflict with someone else and bring the issue directly to them instead of back stabbing. At the moment I cannot think of a serious issue but yesterday I did have a conflict with a friend who might also be a boss of mine soon. There was a misunderstanding and I was able to let her know how I understood the situation without taking it personally and she could as well. I would be happy to allow you to call her.
6. We have an environment where people take actions of their own initiative. Please demonstrate that you can identify a need and produce the necessary results without supervision.
This is something I would love to develop further. Sometimes I walk right past a full trash can but I'm working on it, especially as I know this is important within a community. As a leader I can easily spot rules that don't serve and can easily offer the group a solution that might make things more streamlined with their support.
One thing I do well is to pick up trash as I see it or wash and put my own dish away.
7. Please share about your current life situation.
I am in transition. I am highly inspired with lots of ideas but no focus and some fear of failure. I am ready and am asking to jump into my greatest and highest service in this lifetime. I know how to manifest once I decide what I want but I'm not sure exactly what I want at this time.
8. How long do you intend to invest your time in projects at the labs?
As long as it is necessary
9. Is there a particular project you’re planning to work on? What impact will the project have?
There are lots, I have a non-profit that is ready to be taken to a big level, I am a graphic designer and would love to start a sustainable clothing brand and camps with the photography and philosophy I am passionate about: Getting Girls and women outside, doing things, gaining confidence, connecting with eachotehr and the earth and learning they can do more than they thought. I NEED to get this message out big, I NEED to create community where they feel INCLUDED vs EXCLUDED and that the world neeeeeds their gifts. I truly wnat to create this container for myself, for my co-workers and friends to truly blossom and be held and for all little girls everywhere, this is what I'm on the planet for I just need to create the container, the structure, the curriculum and to make it a safe and sustainable system and environment.
