My initial take at Emerging Leader Labs was warmth. I was welcomed by Madison and Connor while they sat above the waterfall at Solaqua. The group dove right into learning why we had all decided to partake in ELL and I immediately felt the enthusiastic spirit that lived in each of us.
This week was full of colorful renovations and hearty family meals. Not only has the Quaker community exuded plenty of generosity towards us, but as have the beautiful people that have kindly invited us into their homes. Ryan, Tomis, and I were happily received by Becky Meier during the first few nights of the program. Since then, Rachel Weiss is amiably sharing her home with Ryan and I.
I'm eager to experience what's to come here at the lab and am anticipating the collective progress being made by everyone involved.
