In my free time I make visual art and graphic design. I'm currently learning web design with programming and also started a backyard garden to help wean myself off of processed foods. I've worked two part time jobs and took a few courses at a local community college which we're part of an Associate of Arts program. The first time I'd became aware of the problems and potential solutions to each problem our planet currently faces was after doing a project on 1960's counter culture in my 10th grade U.S. history class from four years ago. Even though the mushroom induced hippies showed us that stepping outside of modern civilization to see it for what it really is often reveals disturbing details about our current state of affairs, removing ourselves from our own bodies does the same thing at an individual level. Overall, I feel we've been placed within this region of space time to learn valuable lessons about being responsible caretakers of this planet so we can eventually help species within other galaxies heal thier own biospheres. Because of this fact, if we fail in keeping our own planet livable now then the effects our actions on Earth won't just hurt us but will ripple throughout the entire universe.
