August 25 - Open House Essence Fair
- Move coachees to be considering what to present at the Open House Fair. Will know more about what that means soon.
Processes
- Future placing - on the day, you're about to do it. What are you doing? How do you feel? Who are the people that you pull in?
- Disney Creative Strategies
- Go through Creator, Editor, and Critic as phases.
- Creator and the critic in the same room... nothing will happen.
- breathe into belly and aim for no more than 12 breaths per minute -
- Drama Triangle - villian, victim, hero - Viallian - blaming self or other, Victim - feels effects of the situation, feel powerless, Hero - takes other people's problems
- Hero can turn into a coach
- Victim can turn into creator - sees options and possibilities
- Villian turns into a challenger - own their part in it. address what needs to be looked at
- Speaking unarguable truths - different feelings as a way to get out of the triangle. Things you want, don't want.

Measures
- anything that can be seen by multiple people could be a shared measure
- finding the high leverage measures that produce the result (it is easy to come up with something to measure, but that shapes behavior... so find the ones that shape the behavior, find the ones that engage behavior...)
- Count (average, aggregate), scale, threshold, rating, compass, spectrum, adjectives (+fun, +heart, etc)
- What is across the pitfall - measure to cross that
- Evidence (see touch, taste, feel)
- Questions to ask:
- what is the best thing about ...?
- What is desired feeling... what triggers that... how can you measure it?
- Often the foundation stuff isn't visible... but is needed to be able to take the next step. So make the foundation building visible.
