Coach Team Call+week 2
Attending: Fer, Jean, Ashley, Mary, Matthew
Update from the source team
Finished working to build the space and ready to work! There has been energy coming from source team members physical presence and more people are aware of the project.
Processes and metrics:the coherence built through doing tasks together builds forfaster collaboration... how do you make that visible?
Norms and confidentiality
Is there any norms or confidentiality you are using with leaders? - questions to coaches
Ashley - didn't do usual disclosure... so how do we handle that here?
action item
- Each of us talk to coachees about disclosure and request to share with other coaches, but willingness to also have confidential parts of the conversations
Patterns in coachees
Patterns:
- Lots of head and how to get into body
- The processes have worked to deepen the listening of each other.
- Shifting the way they are interacting and now have a deeper presence and listening.
- There is a deeper alignment, listening and presence in the team
- Building energy... not necessarily directed but full of enthusiasm... high energy. so much potential... and it's contageous - Seed stage
Voicing from the Body process
Touch your head and speak from head
Touch heart and speak from heart
Touch gut and speak from gut
Questions and reflections
- How will week 4 be in regards to this high building energy of the first weeks?
- How do we help catalize this high energy and have it show up as projects?
- Seems we are playing infinite games in a finite construct.
- How to optimize the time we have together with them? (correlated to harvesting and measures)
- How much is happening from potential future scenarios?
Clarity of intention
- What are the expectations of the leaders themselves about the benefit from being in the space day in and out?
- collective goal: the lab
- individual goal: their project
- personal goal: develop self and relational being
- Living what a gift economy is and carrying that DNA in their own projects
- Individual goals
- Emory: tangible: 1. short presentations on his work that can go on 2. website to share what he has been building 3. building toward writing a book.
- Kyle: Wisdom game. The gamer and the game are the same
Harvesting:
- What is the harvesting that needs to take place and that can give us a wider view of the whole allowing us to optimize?
- What are things or ways that the leaders want to communicate outward, and how can we support them?
- Different levels of harvesting:
- Documentation
- Norms
- Valuable processes
- Valuable tools used with our coachees
- Learning Breakthroughs
- Challenges?
- Noticing what's wanting to become as individuals and as a collective?
- Which levels of documentation can the coaching team provide?
- Norms
- Valuable processes
- Tools
- what else?
Measurement
- Measures:
- collective goal: the lab
- individual goal: their project
- personal goal: develop self and relational being
- Are there good resources for measuring the intangibles?
- Scales and ways of asking questions. Catching experiences more than amounts
- Set up goals and listening to deeper levels, more of a physical sense of acomplishment.
- Internal rating system for levels of excitement. The body as a compass.
- what is the bodily sensation and how do you document that?
- Self-knowing- when you have goose bumps that is a good measure
- How do we know when this things yield that result that we are looking for later?
- What are the correlations?
- When have you felt that before, where has it lead to?
- What evolved from the feeling?
- Use silence to feel in and locate things within the body
- Individual measures:
- Building trust in Self
- Willingness to take risks
- Rightness of decisiones
- Acknowledging collective goose bumps. Where do they lead to?
- How can we work with the levels of wealth model. Wealth that can be measured, traded and acknowledged?
- Levels of wealth diagram: http://geekgene.com/~artbrock/Levels-of-Wealth%5BWater%5D.png
