2013 Summer (in Chatham, NY)+Week 5+Coaching Team Call

Call Agenda:

 

1)  Report from ELL on-site (Art & Ruben).

    - Review last weeks objectives: up-leveling vulnerability. 

    - Brief reflection on each 'Maker': project and leadership update.

    - Discuss Theme/Intention of the Week: Prepping for July 27 open-house presentations.

    -  "What is the big Dream?  What is the big picture we are all working for?  What is the Big Story in which ELL is happening?..."

 

2) Open Sharing:

    - Share insights, practice vulnerability.

    - Paradigm Shift vs. Capacity Shift

    - Follow-up streams from last call:

           - D'Artagnan: Transformative Learning Outcomes. 

           - Gonzalo: Integral Map, Holocracy practice...

           - Felix: mapping, measures....

           - Yana: fostering intimacy on the phone/(geography).

 

3)  Relevant info/logistics:

Dear Wonderful Coaches -

Thank you for such an intimate, generous, open and vulnerable call on Tuesday (including ease with the tech-breakdown when I locked Art out of the call!). 
Thank you to Christie and Mary for catalyzing a breakthrough on our last call: your vulnerable sharing and retrospective insights brought us all deeper into intimate relationship and Trust.

A quick recap will serve our momentum as we enter the mid-way point/second half of this year's ELL:

1) Logistics: 
We have shifted our call to Mondays, 1pm EST.  We will see if this works. (If not, we will move back to Tuesdays).
Our next call will be this coming Monday, July 22, 1pm EST.

2) Our Focus:
a. "Doing": Preparation for July 27 ELL Open-House.
Each "Maker" will give a 10-20 minute presentation on their project.
Format is open.  Practicing their delivery with you will be very valuable:
Key elements to consider: - Honing in on how their project is part of the "Big Dream"/larger story.
                                                - Connecting with their audience.

b. "Being": Emergent theme seems to be 'Relationship':
- How is a powerful Project Presentation/'Ted Talk' connected with "Relationship"?: Creating a dynamic relationship with the audience....
-  How can we 'coaches' further embody authentic, straight-forward, vulnerable relationship with our 'creation partner'?
-  Distinguishing our own concerns as coaches, and how this effects the relationship we have with others.  In other words, transcending our self-concern; trusting our motivation and care for supporting the growth of another human being; moving beyond a focus on 'results' and into a context of "what is the next 'Breakthrough'?" (e.g. for Charme, a breakthrough in 'showing up/being count-on-able/seeing her actions have an impact on others/getting clear about what she is 'owning'...).
